Away for a Day Inspired by Elephant Walk
Away for a Day: Inspired by Elephant Walk, Waltham
A taste of Cambodia and France, served right here in Jacksonville.
Join Chef Dennis Chan at Blue Bamboo for the next stop in our Away for a Day Foodie Dinner Series. This month, we’re heading to Waltham, Massachusetts, for inspiration from Elephant Walk, a restaurant known for bringing Cambodian and French culinary traditions together.
Cambodian cuisine offers a wonderful balance of fresh herbs, aromatic spices and bright flavors. For this special dinner, Chef Dennis brings his own interpretation to a menu inspired by Elephant Walk, with dishes that take you on a culinary journey from the first bite to the last.
The evening begins with pork dumplings, followed by Cambodian chicken and pork tenderloin with shishito peppers. To finish, enjoy sangkhia, a traditional Cambodian coconut custard that makes for a sweet ending to our culinary adventure.
It’s a chance to discover new flavors, enjoy a special dinner with friends, and experience a little culinary travel without leaving Jacksonville.
