Away for a Day: Inspired by Urbanbelly, Chicago
Away for a Day: Urbanbelly, Chicago
Bold flavors. Unexpected combinations. Comfort food with a twist.
What happens when Asian comfort food gets a creative makeover? That’s the spirit we’re bringing to Blue Bamboo for our next Away for a Day Foodie Dinner, inspired by Chef Bill Kim’s Urbanbelly in Chicago.
Join Chef Dennis Chan for an evening that celebrates big flavors and inventive combinations. We’ll kick things off with Korean fried chicken, bringing crunch and flavor to the table. Next, discover chile-herb edamame curry pho, a creative bowl that brings together fragrant herbs, warming spice and the comfort of a noodle soup.
For dessert, we’re going somewhere unexpected with avocado chocolate mousse—a rich, smooth finish that proves dessert can surprise you.
It’s a dinner for curious eaters, adventurous appetites and anyone who enjoys seeing familiar ingredients in a whole new way. Come take a culinary trip to Chicago without leaving Jacksonville.
